Moeraki Boulders!

If you’re planning a trip from Christchurch to Dunedin in the South Island of New Zealand, then I recommend stopping to visit the Moeraki Boulders, along Koekohe beach between Moeraki and Hampden.

Moeraki Boulders at Boulder Beach

The Moeraki Boulders are curiously large shaped boulders lying along a stretch of Kowkohe beach. They are stunning and incredibly picture worthy. Take a camera and embrace the mystery of how these boulders arrived. There is a gift shop close by and an information centre which highlights the theories of how these boulders arrived and the history about them.

A beautiful day out, enjoy! 🙂

Thank you, Sadie.

To see my pictures of the boulders, follow the link below to my New Zealand album. All pictures are my own, thank you.
