I consider myself to be quite an adrenaline junkie and jumping out of a plane at 13,000ft with a stranger strapped to my back, hoping and praying the $360 dollar parachute I have just paid, whilst reaching full velocity, will open successfully, was definitely a way to fulfil this feeling.
A skydive jump has always been on my bucket list and jumping in New Zealand was the perfect location. From a birds eye view perspective the sight was just incredible. I was terrified but pumping with excitement! When the plane door opened at 13,000ft, I thought to myself well.. this is it, no turning back now.
Jumping out of that plane was one of the greatest moments in my 24 years of living. It was exhilarating, my heart was racing, the sun was gleaming, the bird’s eye view was breath taking and all in all the experience from start to finish was smooth and exciting. Honestly the jump itself is indescribable. The only thing I can say is try it yourself and you will remember the thrill forever!
Just jump and enjoy the ride!
That’s it for now. If you have any questions about my jump or if you’re planning to do a Skydive yourself I will be happy to talk with you about it. Bye for now, thanks for reading.
Here is a video of my skydive in Ashburton, enjoy! It was amazing 🙂
